The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School’s graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. Successful candidates will be senior faculty with a demonstrated capability to lead a highly impactful and translational research program; provide outstanding mentorship to trainees and junior faculty; and enrich and engage in a collegial departmental environment. Candidates must have an internationally recognized track record of research development and funding, and be eligible for appointment as a full professor with tenure to continue their leadership in contemporary engineering and innovation. Successful candidates will be expected to sustain a vibrant externally-funded research program and to participate in teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students.
