Deadline: December 1, 2020
Expected starting date: 2021, flexible
Job Location: SDU, Odense, Denmark

We expect a post-doc opportunity in theoretical cosmology to be available this year in the cosmology group at CP3-Origins, University of Southern Denmark.

The job is in connection with the project “Solving the Hubble Constant Problem", and we particularly encourage candidates interested in theoretical cosmology and early universe models (primordial inflation, quantum cosmology, dark energy, dark matter, LSS, CMB physics, string cosmology, etc.) to apply. The project is funded by a danish research council grant, held by Martin S. Sloth.

The Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics Phenomenology (http://cp3-origins.dk) contains at the moment 10 faculty members and several post-docs and PhD students in the areas of cosmology, particle physics phenomenology, beyond standard model physics, astroparticle physics, collider phenomenology (both SM and BSM), and lattice field theory. For further information, see our webpage.

The post-doc opportunity will come with plenty of support for travel and computer equipment. Danish post-doc salaries are competitive and the Odense area is a very nice and affordable area to live in.

We are happy to receive your expressions of interest all year long. However, full consideration will be given to enquiries received before the 1st of December every year.

For further information please contact Professor Martin S. Sloth at sloth@cp3.sdu.dk
