Chung-Ang University (CAU) Theoretical High Energy Physics Group anticipates to hire one or two postdoctoral researchers, with appointment starting on March 1, 2021. The starting date of appointment is negotiable. The position is awarded for one year by the approved grant of National Research Foundation in Korea, and it is extendable for one more year, depending on funding situation and research performance. Candidates with research interests in Inflation, Dark matter, Physics beyond the Standard Model, Collider phenomenology, and Model building for new phenomena, are encouraged to apply.
The current CAU THEP Group is composed of Prof. Hyun Min Lee, two postdoc fellows and five graduate students. We cohost the Brain Korea Four program in CAU and the Basic Research Lab on Dark Matter with neighboring universities. We are closely tied to Theory department in CERN, neutrino physics group at department of physics in CAU, and other universities and institutes in Korea.
