The Center of Theoretical Physics at Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau, France) invites applications for one or more postdoctoral positions starting in Fall 2021, in the research group of Dr. Andrea Puhm funded by the ERC Starting Grant 2020-2025 'Information Encoding in Quantum Gravity and the Black Hole Information Paradox'. We are looking for applicants with a PhD in theoretical physics and expertise in black holes, holography, asymptotic symmetries, scattering amplitudes, conformal field theory, string theory. Appointments will begin in the Fall of 2021 for a period of 2+1 years, with the third year subject to performance. More information about the position and the group can be found here.
