Position Description: |
The Optical Quantum Communication and Device group belongs to the Division of Quantum Materials and Devices, and there has been many researchers from University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Tsinghua University and Chinese Academy of Science, etc. Our group focus on the quantum key distribution and quantum networking, devoting ourselves to implementing the quantum communication in a more practical method.
The main work in our group includes, the secure key generation system in a high speed based on the integrated silicon photonic chip, the common fiber transmission technology to combine the quantum communication and conventional optical communication, Integrated quantum entanglement source with high efficiency, and the practical quantum repeater and the quantum processor.
Three postdoctoral positions are opening in the following field: 1.Quantum key distribution system has been demonstrated many years ago and it is a good direction to produce some valuable and practical product in the field of quantum communication. Currently, the key point is a longer propagation distance, a higher key generation speed, and miniaturization and integration in the system. Our group focuses on the integrated silicon photonic chip, devoting ourselves to build the chip-based system which can generate the secure key more than 1 Mbps. The main work includes:
3. According to the quantum superposition, quantum
entanglement and the quantum coherence, the quantum triode can be a switch and
an amplifier similar as the traditional triode, and it can also act as a
quantum logical gate and a quantum memory, which will play an important role in
the field of quantum computing and the quantum networking. Our group focuses on
the quantum triode, devoting ourselves to design the quantum network based on
the quantum repeater. The main work includes:
