The Cornell SC Johnson
College of Business invites applications for a full-time open rank tenure-track position in our Operations,
Technology and Information Management (OTIM) area, intended for placement in
the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, with an intended start
date of July 1, 2021. The position
will be based in Ithaca, NY. The responsibilities of the position include:
teaching basic and advanced courses in analytics, information systems,
operations management, statistics, and/or technology management at the MBA
level; research in the field of operations, technology, and information
management; supervision of doctoral students; interdisciplinary contribution to
the research and teaching of other faculty members; and service to the school. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Operations, Technology, and Information Management or a related field, or be assured of completing a Ph.D. before July 1, 2021. The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1,
2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of
Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and
Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The
Johnson School offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D.
programs. Courses and programs are
taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York
