The P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University is inviting faculty candidates at all ranks across all engineering disciplines that have demonstrated excellence in engineering, computing, or a related field. This call is for multiple positions and has a special emphasis on candidates who will aid our College’s mission to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment in which world-class faculty, staff, and students can thrive to their full potential. We specifically encourage applications from women and underrepresented minorities.

A successful candidate must possess a doctoral degree in engineering, computing, or a closely related field (all of the doctoral degree requirements must be completed prior to starting in a position), and have a record of academic achievement sufficient for appointment as a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Full Professor in one or more of the eight departments in the Rossin College. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The candidate will participate in advancing Lehigh’s reputation as a prominent research and educational institution by demonstrating accomplishments and future potential in research and scholarship, as well as a strong commitment to teaching students in inclusive learning environment. Selection criteria will include the relevant experience for senior candidates to contribute to and enhance diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and activities. The Rossin College consists of eight departments, twelve research-based M.S. and Ph.D. programs, ten professional master’s programs, and twelve undergraduate programs. The college also has multiple cross-college honors programs with the College of Business and with the College of Arts and Sciences. The College faculty includes approximately 130 tenure-track and 20 teaching faculty members. The student body includes approximately 2,000 undergraduate students and 800 graduate students. The College has broad-based research activities across numerous areas of scholarly excellence and is focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our College has established a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee dedicated to developing strategies and plans for enhancing inclusivity and equity across the College.
