The Brandeis International Business School invites applications for a full-time Lecturer (non-tenure track) appointment in business communication beginning July 2021. We seek candidates with strong teaching and career planning skills to teach both “Oral Communications and Your Business Career” and “Business Communication” courses to our undergraduate business majors. These courses will help students build the foundational oral and written communication skills that are central for job search and career success. Ideal candidates will have: • A record that demonstrates excellence or potential excellence in teaching • A strong understanding of fundamental business communications topics, including but not limited to: o Oral communication: Presentations, public speaking, telephone and video skills, networking, small talk o Written communication: Emails, business letters, reports, executive summaries, presentation slides, thank-you notes, social media posts • A particular skill with connecting business communication topics to students’ overall career progression and success, including the internship-search and job-search processes

Applicants must have at least a Master’s degree in business/management or a related field by the start of employment.

About Brandeis International Business School: Each year we graduate approximately 150 undergraduates with business majors from a diverse range of backgrounds.
