College of Business Cornell University The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applicants for a full time tenure track position within our Accounting area, with a start date of July 1, 2021. Rank is Assistant Professor or untenured Associate Professor. The intended placement for this position is in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY. Responsibilities of the position include research in area(s) of expertise, teaching basic and advanced courses in accounting at the BS, MPS, MBA, EMBA and/or Ph.D. levels, supervision of doctoral candidates, and service to the Area, School, and College. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD (defended or ABD) in Accounting or a related field. Our preference is for candidates who are at the entry or experienced Assistant Professor level who would be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor or untenured Associate Professor.
The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1,
2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of
Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and
Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The
Johnson School offers pre-Master’s, MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and
Ph.D. programs. Courses and programs are taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca
campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, and other locations across
the globe. For
