Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy Associate In Research This full-time position in the Duke University Sanford School of Public Policy, a top-10 public policy school will support a large-scale qualitative study of social service delivery in North Carolina. As an associate in research you will be responsible for managing data collection at local WIC offices and local departments of social services. In addition, you will be responsible for managing logistics including interview scheduling, preparing materials, and collecting data. The position is full time, but a part-time option (30 hours per week) may be available if desired. The specific aims of the broader study are to understand the barriers of accessing public assistance programs in counties across North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. The research analyst will act as a key collaborator with the principal investigator to support the research teams in developing, refining and conducting project activities. Responsibilities include the following:

EDUCATION AND TRAINING Work requires research, communications, analytical and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a Master’s degree program. 3 or more years of experience with applied research or project management is preferred.
