Cornell Universityâs Sage School of Philosophy invites applications for the Jack Karp Fellowship in Ancient Philosophy (including Greek, Roman, Indian, or Arabic philosophy) for one or two semesters in 2021-22. Eligible applicants must have a continuing faculty appointment at an accredited institution. The fellowship will provide a stipend of $30,000, travel funds, an office, use of Cornellâs libraries and other resources, and the opportunity to present work-in-progress to Cornellâs ancient philosophy community.
To apply, please submit your application by March 15 2021. Application must include (1) a 3-5 page research proposal, (2) a writing sample, (3) a CV, and (4) two confidential letters of recommendation. A decision will be announced by April 15 2021.
