| The Department of Physics at the University of Florida has an opening for a postdoctoral scholar in condensed matter physics experiments. This position is immediately available and will be open until filled. The successful candidate will work in the research group of Professor Xiao-Xiao Zhang, with the primary research focus on optical spectroscopy studies of novel 2D materials and heterostructures. The scope of the work includes fabrication of 2D material heterostructures, continuous wave and ultrafast optical spectroscopies, and magneto-optical characterization. A Ph.D. in relevant areas of experimental condensed matter physics is required.
