The Department of Romance Studies at Boston University seeks a full-time Lecturer in French, beginning July 1, 2021 to join a dynamic and collaborative language program. Responsibilities include teaching French language from beginning to advanced levels and coordination of multi-sectioned language courses taught by lecturers, professors, and graduate students. Minimum requirements include an MA in French, Second Language Acquisition, or a relevant field; demonstrated excellence in college-level teaching and program development; native or near-native proficiency in French and English; and knowledge of current methods in language teaching, instructional technologies and assessment design. The successful candidate has experience with the coordination of Teaching Fellows and Part-time instructors, and will demonstrate the ability to develop curriculum integrating language and culture.
