The Girard School of Business at Merrimack College is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice (open ended non-tenure track) of Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management (E/SBM) starting fall 2021.

Position Overview: The successful candidate will help to develop entrepreneurship and small business management-related courses and assist with the creation of our new entrepreneurship / small business management concentration in the business school. They will be expected to deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate instruction to students including on-campus, hybrid and online modalities. The faculty member is expected to advise and mentor students, serve on faculty committees, and participate in recruitment efforts.

The Girard School of Business has approximately 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students and offers a BSBA degree with ten concentrations, MS degrees in Management and Accounting, as well as an online MS degree in Business Analytics. Our MS in Management program was ranked 8th in the TFE Times 2018 list of best programs nationally.

Required Qualifications: PhD, MBA or equivalent from an accredited university Experience as an entrepreneur and/or ownership of a small business A strong record of high quality teaching and curriculum development Contribute to diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in the Girard School and the college more broadly
