| The Department of Physics at the University of Zurich has an opening for a Senior Research Associate position in the context of the ERC Advanced Grant project ‘TOPUP - Theory of Particle Collider Processes at Ultimate Precision’ of Prof. Dr. Thomas Gehrmann. The position is limited to a duration of five years, and a starting date in fall 2021 is aimed for. Candidates are expected to have several years of research experience in precision calculations in quantum field theory, ideally with a focus on computer algebra developments for particle physics applications. Secondments to the collaborating group of Prof. Dr. Andreas von Manteuffel at Michigan State University are envisaged within the scope of the project.
