The research will focus on asymptotic frequentist behavior of semiparametric Bayesian methods in heavy tailed density estimation and quantile regression. The position will be supervised by Professor Surya Tokdar.
Candidates are expected to have a PhD in statistics or a related field, and (ideally) to have experience in Bayesian theoretical calculations in the asymptotic setting with necessary background in probability theory and analysis.
