STANFORD UNIVERSITY FACULTY POSITION AVAILABLE

The Department of Physics at Stanford University is seeking applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics, broadly construed. Applicants should exhibit the potential of running a world-leading independent research program. They should possess good communication skills and a commitment to teaching and mentoring. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Physics and will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We encourage applications from candidates that identify with groups that are historically underrepresented in Physics. The term of appointment is expected to begin on September 1, 2022.
