Berkeley Lab’s Physics Division has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to work in the ATLAS Group.
The successful candidate will participate in the analysis of ATLAS physics data, including but not limited to the study of photon-induced processes and measurement of luminosity. The candidate will also contribute to the Pixel Tracker upgrade for the HL-LHC. The larger LBL ATLAS group makes significant contributions to SM, Higgs, SUSY and Exotics analyses, and has major roles in the construction of the ITk Pixel and Strips trackers for HL- LHC, as well as extensive activities in computing and core software. The group contains a unique mixture of lab staff and faculty members, with a significant number of postdocs and Ph.D. students.
