Department invites applications for postdoctoral Research Associate
appointments in the Fall of 2022.
Postdoctoral research associates in the Fermilab Theory Division are

self-directed theoretical research in particle physics on topics of their own
choosing and are encouraged to work with members of the senior scientific staff
and other postdocs within the Division. The Fermilab Particle Theory research
program includes neutrino physics, perturbative QCD, lattice QCD, Higgs
& flavor physics, collider phenomenology and physics beyond the standard
model. Collaboration with members of the other two departments in the Theory
Division (Astrophysics Theory and Quantum Theory) is encouraged and supported. The Particle
Theory Department has deep involvement in the Fermilab experimental program
including neutrino experiments such as MicroBooNE, SBND, Icarus, and DUNE; the
CMS experiment at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider, in particularly through the LHC
Physics Center; and experiments with muons: the anomalous magnetic moment and
the search for muon-to-electron conversion. Theory Division members can be
