Work performed: Planning and executing experiments in the lab and field; plant care; DNA and RNA extraction, quantification, and troubleshooting; data organization, processing, and analysis, and presenting results of research; recordkeeping, organizing lab protocols; some supervision and training of other lab personnel.

Required skills and experience: BS in Biology or an equivalent field; research experience in the field of ecology, genetics, evolutionary biology or similar field; experience with plant care; experience with fieldwork; excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with data manipulation and analysis a plus.
