Colgate University Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences: One Visiting Position in Neuroscience

The Department of Psychological and Brain Science and Neuroscience Program at Colgate University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Behavioral/Systems or Cellular/Molecular Neuroscience beginning in the fall semester of 2022 with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. The teaching load for this position is equivalent to five courses per year. Area of specialty is open. Successful candidates will be expected to teach staff-taught courses (e.g., Introduction to Neuroscience, Biological Psychology, or Neuroscience Methods), upper-level courses in the candidate’s specialty area, and supervision of senior thesis work (which normally counts as a one course load). Successful candidates may also be expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Completion of a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field is expected prior to, or shortly after, the date of hire.
