The High Energy Particle Physics group at Geneva University invites applications for a 4-year, fully funded, PhD position in the group led by Francesco Riva. The selected candidate will develop research in the context of Quantum Field Theory beyond the Standard Model and Particle Phenomenology. Candidetes are required to have a degree in Physics or Mathematics with a strong background in theoretical physics, in particular Quantum Field theory.
The group boasts a friendly and stimulating environment with high research standards. It is part of the Theoretical Physics Department, which involves approximately 70 members, working on Particle Physics, Cosmology, String Theory and Condensed Matter physics. It has strong ties with both nearby CERN and EPFL, Lausanne. |
