The Master of Engineering degree in the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University (Durham, NC) invites applications for a Non Regular Rank Executive in Residence position. The Pratt School of Engineering is an engaging teacher who in interested in developing business leadership and management expertise in highly talented engineering master’s students.
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Teach 4 courses each year for Pratt Master’s Programs, focused
on Business Fundamentals for engineers.
- Collaborate across program and school boundaries
- Support the academic and co-curricular activities of
master’s students.
Ideal candidates
will have a broad understanding of key business elements such as Finance,
Marketing, Sales, Legal and Operations and experience leading, as well as engineering or technical background with
experience in leading and managing in corporate setting. They would also have a PhD or commensurate industry
experience/expertise, as well as teaching/course development experience. Existing
industry relations is highly desirable. This
position is expected to be full time, but other levels of commitment may be
considered.
