Postdoctoral Research Associate Position for Quantifying Fugitive Hydrogen Emissions The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University is seeking to recruit one postdoctoral research associate to work on methods for measuring and quantifying fugitive emissions from the hydrogen supply chain as part of a joint Cornell-EDF research project. The candidate must have a demonstrated interest in characterizing gas plume behavior using experiments and physics-based models. The candidate must have a PhD in a directly relevant field, such as engineering or physics. The candidate is expected to have a strong academic record, and excellent verbal and written communication skills as demonstrated by peer-reviewed journal publications. Experience in working towards milestones and delivering results on time is essential. Intended start date is June 1, 2022. Pay Ranges:

The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  • Prior relevant work or industry experience.
  • Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
  • Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
  • Unique applicable skills.
