The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Mount Allison University invites applications for a nine-month full-time sessional appointment in Inorganic Chemistry. The appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor and will commence on August 1, 2022, subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will be required to teach Inorganic Chemistry I (CHEM 2311), Bioinorganic Chemistry (CHEM 4351), Current Advances in Chemistry/Biochemistry (CHEM/BIOC 4903), and an upper-level undergraduate course in chemistry to be determined in consultation with the Department. Contributions to research and service are encouraged during the appointment. Candidates must provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary and student-centered environment.
