Non-Regular Rank Instructor for Somatic course.
Qualifications
An undergraduate and graduate education provider in the Dance Program has an opening for an in-person Non-Regular Rank somatic instructor. Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities: Perform course planning and instruction, facilitate and support student success in learning. Candidates with certification in somatic practices/approaches to movement will be strongly considered.
Requirements
Applicants must have a PhD or MFA degree. Candidate must demonstrate a rigorous background of professional or pre-professional somatic practice and teaching and experience. Candidate must hold university level degree(s) and appropriate somatic certification for their specific field. Candidate must have experience teaching somatic practices and demonstrate a syllabus or record of long-term or semester long teaching and experience. We will consider an individual's record working with students and colleagues with diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
