The School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for open-rank tenure-track faculty positions as part of a comprehensive initiative in quantum sciences. We anticipate hiring two theorists. Appointments at senior ranks may be considered for qualified candidates that exceptionally augment our current efforts and future priorities. A successful applicant will join the growing quantum science group in the School of Physics, which also has interdisciplinary ties across the Institute's Colleges of Sciences, Engineering and Computing. As a Research University in the University System of Georgia, it is vital that Georgia Tech maintain a vibrant research program to fulfill its missions in scholarship, instruction, and service. Georgia Tech's research program provides doctoral training opportunities as well as important experiential learning opportunities for undergraduate students. Tenure-track academic faculty members are expected to develop research portfolios that attract financial support in the form of grants and contracts with federal and state agencies, private foundations, and/or industry.
