Tenure Track Faculty Positions – Finance Area Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Cornell University The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applications from qualified individuals for two (2) full time tenure-track faculty positions in our Finance Area, with an intended start date of July 1, 2023. Rank is assistant professor, intended for placement in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (one position) or the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (one position). Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities of the position include: 1) research in area(s) of expertise, 2) teaching basic and advanced courses at the BS, MBA, and/or Ph.D. levels, 3) supervision of doctoral candidates, and 4) service to the Area, School, and College. Candidates will have a Ph.D. (defended or ABD) in Finance or a related field. Preferred candidates will demonstrate significant accomplishment in research, teaching, and service and will complement and extend the strengths of the faculty of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the Nolan School of Hotel Administration. The Finance Area at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business consists of a large number of faculty with diverse research interests from across our three Schools. It is expected that our faculty teach across multiple schools within the College of Business. The Johnson School offers highly-ranked MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. programs. Courses and programs are taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, and other locations across the globe. The Dyson School is a top-ranked undergraduate business program, as well as home to graduate (MPS, MS and Ph.D.) programs in applied economics. Both tenure-track positions will be based in Ithaca, NY, with potential teaching responsibilities at the new Cornell Tech campus in New York City, the Executive MBA campus in Palisades, NY, and the Cornell-Tsinghua MBA/FMBA.
