Position Description:

Applications are invited for two post-doctoral positions in the Fundamental Interactions Group at the Ecole Normale Superieure Physics Department (Laboratoire de Physique de l'Ecole Normale Superieure).

The appointments are for three years, and in addition to an internationally competitive salary they include an attractive travel allowance of 4000 euros. The positions are funded by the grant ERC-CoG-21 "FunBootS". Appointments will take place in September or October 2023. The candidates must hold a doctoral degree before the appointment starts.

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Quantum Field Theory and research interests in Conformal Bootstrap, S-matrix Bootstrap, Holography and related topics. Successful candidates will be integrated into the ERC-funded research group "FunBootS" based at the Ecole Normale Superieure in the heart of Paris. They will benefit from the large, lively theory community in the Paris region, including neighbouring institutions LPTHE Jussieu, IPhT Saclay, CPHT Polytechnique, and the IHES.
