Postdoctoral research in Theoretical Quarks, Hadrons and Nuclei Group at the University of Maryland beginning between March and September of 2023. The group's faculty are Paulo Bedaque and Thomas D. Cohen.
Current research includes lattice QCD including machine learning techniques and solutions ot the sign problem, effective field theories, quantum computation applied to nuclear physics, dense quark matter, meson spectroscopy and large Nc. The group's research interests are broad; we strongly
encourage young researchers interested in any aspect of strong
interactions to apply. Additional collaborative opportunities exist with other faculty at the University of Maryland and nearby institutions. International candidates will be considered. The starting date is flexible and can be anytime between March and September 2023.
Competitive postdoctoral salary based on experience. If you have other
questions, contact Paulo Bedaque (bedaque@umd.edu). |
