The group of Dr Yevgeny Bar Lev at Ben-Gurion University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in physics and expertise in one or more of the following: 
  • quantum disordered systems,
  • quantum many-body systems, 
  • quantum chaos or thermalization 
  • driven or open quantum systems, 
The applicant will be expected to work on topics within the broad interests of the group. The focus will be on dynamics and thermalization in quantum-constrained systems or other systems with weak ergodicity breaking. The successful applicant will have a strong background in theoretical physics and proven experience in numerical studies of many-body quantum systems. Experience working with high-performance computing (HPC) clusters will be an advantage. 

They will be expected to contribute to the ongoing research of the group, compose publications, participate in group meetings and seminars, and represent the group in conferences and workshops. They will also be expected to apply for competitive postdoctoral fellowships.
