The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill one Postdoctoral Scholar position in Optics and Photonics. The successful candidates will participate in the research program of Dr. Mikael Rechtsman’s lab to carry out theoretical work, simulations and experiments related to photonic crystals, waveguide arrays and other photonic structures. Ideal candidates will have experience in at least one of the following fields: ultrafast optics, quantum optics (including quantum imaging), metamaterials and nanofabrication, photonic crystal physics, and the theory of topological insulators. Related fields will be considered as well.
