The group for Nonequilibrium Quantum and Statistical Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, led by prof. Tomaž Prosen, invites applications for a three-year postdoctoral research position in theoretical physics.

The broad area of the position is condensed matter theory and non-equilibrium many-body dynamics, with emphasis on exactly solvable models and quantum many-body chaos. The candidate is expected to work with prof. Tomaž Prosen, but will also be free to collaborate with other senior members of the group (prof. Marko Žnidarič and dr. Enej Ilievski), as well as with prof. Sašo Grozdanov on topics related to quantum chaos and transport in holography.

The preferred starting date of the appointment is the 1st of October 2023, but this is negotiable, and a starting date of up to 2-3 months earlier or later would also be possible.

All interested candidates should apply with their Cover Letter, CV, List of Publications, Research Statement and at least two reference letters before the 15th of March 2023.
