Project Title: Soft rehabilitation robotics (Biomedical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering) 

Applicants should have a PhD degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline for Postdoctoral Fellow. Qualification awarding institutions among the top 100 institutions in the latest publication of any of the following world university ranking tables (i.e. QS, THE, ARWU and USNWR) are more preferable. 

Applicants should have a MSc degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline plus at least four years' post-qualification experience in rehabilitation field for Research Associate. 

Applicants should have (i) a MSc degree (for Research Assistant) OR a BSc degree (for Junior Research Assistant) in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, and (ii) preferably at least one year's post-degree experience in robotics field, but fresh graduate will also be considered. 

Applicants also should have (a) self-motivation, a good sense of responsibility and strong problem-solving skills; (b) good communication and writing skill; and (c) preferably at least one of the following experiences to fit the need of our different projects: 
• SolidWork/AutoCAD/LabView/Eagle/TINA/SPSS; 
• Soft robots design; 
• Signal processing; 
• Control algorithm design; or 
• Stroke rehabilitation. 

Duties include (1) assisting in the development of soft robots for rehabilitation; (2) conducting clinical trial with stroke subjects, persons after stroke and persons with disability; (3) writing journal papers and reports, (4) analysing data; and (5) performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. 

Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
