This Postdoctoral Associate will work on several projects in the sociology of religion: National Congregations Study, National Survey of Religious Leaders, Seminary to Early Ministry Study, and the Duke Clergy Health Initiative. The successful candidate will support all research and some administrative aspects of these projects. Duties include, but are not limited to, analyzing quantitative data, writing manuscripts for peer-review, supervising students, managing project data, and maintaining project websites. Candidates must hold (or have conferred before 1 June 2023) a PhD in sociology or related social science discipline. They also must have expertise in quantitative methods and experience with research about clergy, congregations, and/or theological education. Authorship of peer-reviewed manuscripts on one or more of these subjects is highly preferred.
