The Department of Political Science at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its open instruction pool. Positions are limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding and performance.
Potential areas of expertise include Urban Politics, Politics of China, Politics of Russia, Formal Theory and Methodology, and International Relations, International Political Economy, Politics & Film, and on-line instruction of introductory political science courses. A J.D. or Ph.D. in Political Science or related field is required.
