|Pro Tem Research Assistants/Research Associates
Center on Teaching and Learning (CTL)
Salary: $40,000 - $65,000
The Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its open research pool. Positions are limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding and performance.
Potential areas of research include: research; program development; statistical analyses related to all phases of preparation of scientific papers, presentations, and grant applications; staff professional development at project level; and off-site research activities with a variety of populations including persons with identified developmental disabilities. Research Associates will conduct independent research and participate on research teams. Research Assistants will conduct research under the direction of Research Associates and participate on research teams.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Education or a related area is required for Research Assistant positions. A Doctorate in Education, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration or related area is required for Research Associate positions. Some positions may include overnight travel and/or extensive previous experience in a similar job role. An ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds and an interest in creating and maintaining a diverse learning and working environment is required.
