Description: The Department of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology in the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Outstanding individuals using zebrafish as a model organism are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and cohesive zebrafish community at The Ohio State University and compliment existing strengths in the department in neuromuscular biology, neurodegenerative diseases, RNA biology, and epigenetics.
Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral research experience. A proven record of research accomplishments in biochemistry, molecular biology or molecular genetics with a strong record of publications is required. The appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
