The MIT Astrophysics Division invites applications for one postdoctoral research position to work with Professor Mark Vogelsberger on theoretical topics in the fields of galaxy formation, dark matter physics/detection, self-interacting dark matter, ISM physics, hydrodynamical simulation, ICM plasma physics, dust physics, and cosmology.
Applicants with experience in any of these topics are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in performing cosmological simulations, galaxy formation modeling, or astroparticle physics is strongly desired. MIT provides a stimulating work environment and funding for research activities are available.
