|TENURE-TRACK FACULTY POSITION
UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON (SEATTLE)
Outstanding candidates in theoretical physics are invited to apply for a full-time tenure-track appointment, at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, in the Department of Physics at the University of Washington. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, condensed matter theory, particle-astrophysics and elementary particle theory, quantum field and string theory, and nuclear theory.
University of Washington faculty members engage in teaching, research, and service. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching and to develop an innovative, vigorous, externally-funded research program. Applicants must have a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent degree, by the date of appointment.
