Postdoctoral Fellowship in Theoretical Particle Physics

The INFN Particle and Cosmology Theory Group at Scuola Normale Superiore and at the Physics Department in Pisa invites applications for one postdoctoral fellowship in high-energy theoretical physics to begin in Fall 2017. Members of the group include Riccardo Barbieri, Roberto Contino, Alessandro Strumia and Enrico Trincherini, as well as postdocs and students.

We look for exceptional and motivated candidates with interest in the Phenomenology of Fundamental Interactions beyond the Standard Model, Quantum Field Theory and Cosmology.

The duration of the appointment is two years, with a possible extension to a third year contingent on funding. The annual gross salary is 40.000 euros plus benefits.

The fellowship is funded by the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), and is reserved to non-italian citizens and to italian citizens who hold a position in a foreign institution at the time of the application and have been abroad for at least three years. Eligible applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.
