The Department of Psychology at Mount Allison University invites applications for a full-time 9-month sessional position. This appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be required to teach 4 courses from the following (2 per term): Introductory Psychology, Child and Adolescent Development, Social Psychology, Personality, Memory, Educational Psychology, an advanced seminar course in the candidate’s area of expertise. Candidates ought to have completed, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. in Psychology and preferably will have previous teaching experience. The candidate is also expected to be engaged in research and potentially provide undergraduate student research supervision/mentorship. The anticipated start date for the position is August 1, 2017, subject to budgetary approval.
