The Department of History at Cornell University invites applications for a one year postdoctoral fellowship in Latin American History, beginning July 2017. Period and regional specialization are open. The fellow will be asked to teach one class per semester, one of which should be a lecture course on early/colonial Latin America and one of which should be a sophomore or senior seminar in the area of the fellow’s research interests.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, c.v., sample syllabi for the proposed courses, course or TA evaluations, and two letters of recommendation. All materials should be uploaded to Academic Jobs Online. Applicants must have received the Ph.D. after September 2012 and have the Ph.D. in hand by the time of application.
