he Ohio State University College of Pharmacy invites applications for a position at the rank of Assistant Professor - Practice. The candidate will be a member of the Pharmacy Practice and Science Division and will be part of highly collaborative teams of faculty teaching in the PharmD curriculum. The primary responsibilities of this position are to participate in the development, implementation, and teaching of materials in the Integrated Pharmacotherapy modules in the new PharmD curriculum. This includes participation in the development and delivery of didactic lectures, activities and assessments, evaluation of student work, course administration duties, and curricular revision. Other teaching duties may be assigned as needed and based on the successful candidate’s area(s) of expertise. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a strong desire to be engaged in the clinical education of pharmacy students. The successful candidate will also supervise fourth year pharmacy students, pharmacy practice residents, and graduate teaching assistants who also may participate in these modules.

Required Education: Applicants must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency training in Ambulatory Care. Applicants must have completed a Research Fellowship and a Master of Science Degree in Health System Pharmacy Administration that emphasizes community pharmacy practice.

Required Experience: Classroom teaching experience in a Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum and two or more years of community pharmacy practice experience is required. Desired Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in presenting and publishing scholarly work, as well as obtaining grant funding. Required Certification(s) or License(s): The applicant must hold pharmacist licensure in Ohio or be eligible for licensure in Ohio. Desired Certification(s) or License(s): Certified in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery and Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services
