The Department of Health Sciences at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts invites applications for a non-tenure track (term) faculty position at the rank of Lecturer beginning September 1, 2017.
Description: We are seeking an outstanding faculty member to join our rapidly expanding Department that includes new programs, expanded facilities, state-of-art equipment, funded research initiatives, community partnerships, and more. This position will help support our new undergraduate program in Rehabilitation Sciences and graduate program in Athletic Training. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise and mentor students, and provide service to the Department and College. Opportunities to gain experience and receive mentorship in all areas of faculty development are distinctive aspects of the position.
Qualifications: Each successful candidate will minimally have a Masters degree (doctorate preferred) earned in rehabilitation sciences, athletic training, kinesiology, biomechanics, or physical therapy. Candidates will present strong evidence of successful teaching and student mentorship. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant clinical or practical expertise.
