| The Department of Physics at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment in experimental physics. We encourage applications in experimental particle physics, accelerator physics, and astrophysics. Candidates should complement the existing research program in the Laboratory for Elementary-Particle Physics; expanding the LHC component of the laboratory program is not a priority of this search. The search will focus at the assistant professor level, although more senior candidates may be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct an outstanding research program and be an effective teacher in the undergraduate and graduate instructional program of the Physics Department.
