The Colgate University Music Department invites applications for a tenure stream
assistant professor of music position as Director of Choral Programs, beginning fall
semester, 2022. DMA preferred, but applications from ABD candidates will also be
accepted. Responsibilities include directing the University Chorus and Chamber Singers
and teaching music appreciation, harmony, and basic musicianship and songwriting. We

tenure and promotion. Application materials, comprising a cover letter, curriculum vitae,
and three current reference letters must be submitted through https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/program/21194.
Colgate strives to be a community supportive of diverse perspectives and identities.
Candidates should describe in their cover letter how their approach to teaching and
scholarship might create an inclusive educational environment.
