Schools of Biomedical Engineering and
Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering

The Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering and the Sibley School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University invite applications for the Lowell and Susan McAdam Professor of Heart Assist Technology. We seek exceptional candidates who will dramatically enhance cardiovascular research efforts, develop synergies with current areas of biomedical engineering strength, and embrace the vision of a quantitative, multi-scale approach to applying engineering solutions to problems in human cardiovascular health and disease. The appointment is expected to be with tenure at the rank of Full or Associate Professor.

Candidates are expected to currently have an internationally recognized program of cardiovascular research and teaching. Exceptional candidates who add to or complement current research strengths in either or both schools will be given priority consideration.
