New hires are required to provide documentation showing full vaccination status (that is, completion of two shots of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one shot of the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson) before their first day of work. If a new hire's vaccination is not complete or information is not received by their start date, the first day of work will be delayed. It is possible in some cases that an offer of employment may be withdrawn.

Position is located in Ithaca, NY, within the ILR School on the campus of Cornell University, or can be based remotely. The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University has an immediate opening for a Senior Research / Research Associate in the K. Lisa Yang and Hock E. Tan Institute on Employment and Disability in the Extension/Outreach Division. This position is responsible for extension research activities and administration within one or more thematic research areas. The Senior Research / Research Associate is responsible for independently designing, developing and delivering research and related services that are closely aligned with the strategic mission and core values of YTI and the ILR School. The Senior Research / Research Associate will be responsible for contributing to writing of research reports and scholarly publications for submission to peer-reviewed journals. This position reports to the YTI Associate Director of Research. Senior Research / Research Associate is a full-time, academic, non-tenure track, term position with up to an initial appointment through December 31, 2024. The position may be reappointed on the basis of recommendations by the respective Project Director, the YTI Associate Director of Research, the YTI Director and Associate Dean of Outreach as well as available funding and work. Position rank will be determined by qualifications and experience. Project-Related Emphasis: This position will conduct program evaluation, research, and dissemination activities in support of several research projects funded to the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability (YTI). The position will be responsible the design and implementation of research studies, communicating summary research findings to team members, conducting literature reviews, writing of research and evaluation reports for funding agencies, and scholarly publications for submission to peer-reviewed journals, contributing to proposal grant writing, and assisting with annual project reporting across a number of YTI current projects.
