A Postdoctoral Associate position is available in the Center for Global Women’s Health Technologies (GWHT) within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. The central mission of GWHT is to develop technologies that improve access to quality healthcare in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The postdoctoral associate will work on GWHT’s project utilizing a novel ablative therapy to improve access to cancer treatment in settings where surgery and radiation are unavailable.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD in biomedical engineering or a related field. Previous experience developing and performing cancer therapy experiments including small animal handling, immunology assays, and wet lab skills will be instrumental for this position. Excellence in research, writing, and mentoring are required for this position.
